Our Story
We're Nick and Devin. Two best friends who started Haki Studios to give anime fans a place to belong - a community built around the culture we all grew up on.
It began as late nights celebrating the art, the stories, and the people anime never gets enough credit for. The clothes came when we wanted to take our community to the next level - so we taught ourselves to screen-print and sew, and built our people something real to wear. Everything we make is for them.
Chapter 01
We launch as an Instagram page spotlighting the influence of manga and anime and creating a space where fans around the world can celebrate its culture.
One mission in mind: make everyone a fan.
Chapter 02
Early community showed us that what we were doing was important.
Our fans' shared love for design and art inspired us to take what we'd built to the next level - into the real world.
We dedicate the year to learning how to make clothes with the goal of creating a uniform for our community.
Chapter 03
After a year of research and development, we launch our site, with just a handful of tees and hoodies.
In just a few months, the orders start to pile up. We spend all of our free time sewing, printing, embroidering, and packing orders.
For the first time, it feels less like a hobby we love and more like a calling we can't ignore.
Chapter 04
So we leaned in.
With our community reaching new heights, we knew we too needed to go to the next level.
We began designing whole worlds - capsules and collections that tell their own stories.
